Contrary to popular opinion, it is an attractive town also available to those who travel cheaply, but consciously. We suggest how to spend an interesting holiday in Zakopane, finding a balance between attractions, comfort, and financial possibilities!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Stay away from Krup\u00f3wki<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Krup\u00f3wki is Zakopane&#039;s calling card, it is worth considering accommodation in less crowded districts - Harenda, Olcza or Cyrhla are much quieter and usually cheaper. Just a few minutes by local bus and we are in the very center, and accommodation can cost half of what it costs on the main streets of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Opt for local food<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Where to eat tasty and cheap? Look for places where locals eat. So-called &quot;bar\u00f3wki&quot;, or milk bars, highlander eateries or family pubs, offer delicious home-cooked meals at reasonable prices. Be sure to try kwa\u015bnica, pierogi or highlander soups - tasty, cheap and local!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Free or cheap attractions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#039;t have to spend a fortune to have fun. Zakopane and its surroundings offer plenty of cheap or completely free attractions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The White Valley, the Za Bramk\u0105 Valley or the Str\u0105\u017cyska Valley<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 beautiful and easy trails for everyone, offering unforgettable views, and entry costs only a few zlotys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A walk under the Great Krokiew<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 seeing one of the most famous Polish ski jumps costs nothing and provides a lot of emotions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Hasior Gallery or the Tatra Museum<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 it is worth asking about days with free admission or reduced fees for students or families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Move sparingly<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of taxis, take public transport \u2013 local buses that run regularly are a cheap and convenient way to get to all the attractions and mountain trails. On a nice day, consider renting a bike or using the convenient and well-marked walking trails. This not only saves money, but also takes care of your health and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Shopping? Yes, but sensibly!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When travelling economically, it is worth being careful when shopping. If you need supplies for your journey, visit a local market instead of tourist shops, where prices can be higher. If you want to take regional souvenirs with you, the market at Guba\u0142\u00f3wka or the area around the train station offer attractive prices for tourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Travel at unusual times<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest savings can be achieved off-season \u2013 in spring or autumn. In these months, fewer tourists mean lower prices and greater travel comfort. You can not only relax from the crowds, but also save on accommodation and food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Traveling together in a group<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Planning a trip with friends or family? Rent a larger apartment or cottage \u2013 the more people you travel with, the lower the cost per person. An added bonus is the ability to cook meals together, which further reduces daily costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A holiday in Zakopane doesn&#039;t have to break the bank. A bit of creativity and well-considered decisions are enough to see the Tatras, feel the highlander atmosphere and sit down to delicious food - without spending a fortune. Zakopane, which we loved for its nature, tradition and atmosphere, turns out to be pocket-friendly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Planning a mountain vacation?
